收假前一晚

sleeplessness (n.) 失眠
例句：Recently,I often suffer from sleeplessness.
我近來飽受失眠之苦。

insomnia (n.) 失眠；失眠症
例句：Too much stress on the job could cause insomnia.
工作壓力太大可能會導致失眠症。

restlessness (n.) 輾轉不安；煩躁不安；不安定
例句：What was my own was the restlessness, the seething tension within me.
我個人寫的東西都是煩躁不安的詩句，在我內心深處翻騰躁動。

dark circles (n.) 黑眼圈
例句：她化濃妝以掩飾她的黑眼圈。
She wore heavy makeup to mask the dark circles under her eyes.

snooze (n.) 打盹兒 / (v.)打盹兒；懶散著打發掉日子
※鬧鐘的貪睡功能用的就是snooze喔
例句：Dad is taking a snooze in the other room.
爸爸正在另外一間房間里打盹兒。

上班的狀況

tired (adj.) 疲倦的；疲勞的；累的；厭煩的
動詞tire的過去式和過去分詞形式.
例句：I was too tired to walk any further.
我累得再也走不動了。

fatigued (adj.) 疲乏的
例句：Tidy up the fatigued heart of my own.
整理自己疲憊的心。

jaded (adj.) 疲倦不堪的；厭倦或缺乏熱情的
例句：He looks jaded.
他看來疲憊不堪。

sleepy (adj.) 欲睡的；睏倦的
例句：The softness of the breeze made him feel sleepy.
柔和的微風使他昏昏欲睡。

slumberous (adj.) 昏昏欲睡的；安靜的
例句：I wish an oblivious slumber could help me forget what happened today.
我真希望昏睡能使我忘卻今天發生的事情。

awake (adj.) 醒著的；沒睡的；清醒的
例句：I was up/awake all night.
我昨晚整夜沒睡。

overnight (adv.)通宵 / (adj.)整晚的；很快的
例句：I stayed overnight at a friend's house.
我在朋友家過了一夜。

stay in bed 賴床
例句：Unlike me, my husband likes to stay in bed.
我丈夫與我相反，喜歡睡懶覺。

skip school 翹課
例句：Mom saw through me. She knew I skipped school today.
老媽能看透我,她知道我今天翹課。

malingering (n.) 裝病；開小差
動詞malinger的現在分詞.
例句：Doctors have struggled to distinguish the ailing from the malingering.
醫生們只能努力去分辨真病還是裝病。
